BYP Bestie Delivery terms
These terms explain the Bestie search and member-introduction feature included with eligible adult Before You Pop membership.
Membership participation
Bestie search and BYP matching are included features of active adult BYP membership. By creating or maintaining an eligible adult BYP membership, you agree that your membership identity may be considered in private BYP matching and that other eligible members may receive a qualifying Bestie result for their pairwise score with you. There is no separate opt-out from being searchable or matchable while the eligible membership remains active. If you do not agree to this membership feature, do not create or maintain an eligible adult BYP membership. You never have to accept, answer, or continue a connection request, and declining or ignoring a request does not violate these terms.
Payments and delivery notices
Being searchable or matchable does not itself create a charge. Any future paid delivery plan must be clearly confirmed before a member is charged. Members may save delivery preferences for service notices, but those notice settings do not remove the member from Bestie search.
Match scores, privacy and connection consent
BYP determines pairwise compatibility privately on the server using the original BYP engine. A qualifying result may show the other member your public BYP name or alias, BYP Code, and the pairwise scores BYP permits for that result. Your birthday, email address and phone number are not exposed. Searchability is part of membership, but direct contact is not automatic: a connection request still requires the other member's acceptance before private contact information or direct communication is opened.
No-name near-miss report
Members may see a private anonymous explanation of why another eligible adult member's pairwise BYP score did not meet the chosen Bestie tier. The report can show the four compatibility scores, missed criteria, and the points needed to meet the score thresholds, but does not include the other person's name, BYP Code, birthday, photo, or contact details. Active eligible adult members may be scanned as part of the membership matching service, and restricted Bestie preferences are respected. People whose private listing category requires confirmation are not shown in near-miss reports. Example reports are fictional and labeled clearly. Anonymous reports do not enable contacting or identifying an unsuccessful candidate.
Bestie preferences
Members may request a Man Bestie, a Woman Bestie, or choose Doesn't Matter. Each member may optionally select how they want to be listed for Bestie Delivery: Man, Woman, or Prefer Not to Say. BYP honors restricted Man/Woman requests before revealing suggested profiles. An answer is self-reported, not independently verified. Names and photos may help people recognize one another, but cannot reliably verify that someone fits a restricted request. Compatible members who skip the category question may be held for private confirmation without revealing their profiles to members who chose Man Only or Woman Only. Each person may accept or decline any introduction.
Friendship and intimacy
Every Bestie Delivery level requires a BYP Love score of at least 4 out of 5. Harmony levels are distinct: Gold Bestie 500+, Strong Bestie 400–499, and Potential Bestie 300–399. Other criteria differ by level. A Love score of 3 or lower is ineligible regardless of Harmony, Communication, or Intimacy. The BYP scoring engine itself is unchanged. Intimacy scores of 4–5 are ordinarily outside standard platonic Bestie levels. They may be considered for a platonic introduction only where both adults independently opt into that option. Nobody's sexual attraction is inferred from sex, gender or scores.
Result accuracy
Accurate birthdays and thoughtful answers are important to BYP's intended matching process. Alcohol, drugs, intoxication or other circumstances can influence a person's answers or behavior. BYP scores describe the compatibility calculation; a match listing does not guarantee a relationship outcome.
Privacy and conduct
No member should share another person's private contact information without consent. Respect boundaries, report abuse, and use BYP's connection controls. BYP may suspend abusive activity. Private scoring methods and member authentication remain protected.
Email and updates
Members may save one-time or weekly Bestie Delivery notice preferences and choose BYP Inbox only or email plus Inbox. Once the Owner approves the service-copy template and activates delivery, BYP sends a notice only when NEW qualifying Bestie candidates become available under the saved notice settings. Recipients must open BYP to review candidates or request connections; the notice does not reveal someone else's birthday or private contact information. One-time delivery is sent at most once, while weekly deliveries are spaced at least seven days apart and contain no previously delivered candidates. Changing or pausing notice preferences does not remove an active eligible adult member from Bestie search or BYP matching. The service does not activate marketing campaigns or payments.
